On July 17, 1993 (27 years ago today), Whitney’s song “Run To You” from the album “The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album” peaked at #31 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was written by Jud Friedman and Allan Rich and produced by David Foster. In the U.S., the song spent six weeks in the Top 40. In November 2017, Sony released a 25th Anniversary album titled “I Wish You Love: More From The Bodyguard” which included the film version of Run to You as well as a rare live version of the song. #Music
